A View of the Cirque de Gavarnie in the French Pyrennees
I have back-packed in the French Pyrenees nearly every summer for over thirty years. I usually draw and paint on postcards in watercolour, sending them home to save carrying them. This misty valley view inspired me to paint in oils when I got home.
